Quilt Membership Information

We are enjoying our membership so much!  We love making quilts.  Jessica and I started making quilts together when she was about 11-years-old.  This is a blessing to be able to share what we've learned through the years.

We currently have two Quilting memberships now!

Both head under the title Quilting with Seasons.  The first is our on-going Ladies Quilting Society, our monthly block membership.  This is for older members and any level quilter.  Although some blocks are difficult, we try to expand directions for those less experienced.  Each quilt block is being

We then have The Girl's Quilting Society, our newest membership for girls ages 10 or 11+.  This follows the same pattern as the Ladies Membership, but the blocks are more geared for beginners.

Our PDF tutorials show you step by step how to construct each block. Don't worry if you missed the past blocks!  All past blocks can be purchased in your account when you are ready to purchase them.

Our blocks have full color photography and for certain blocks, we do video clips; these are available for download on your block page once you sign up for the membership.

Our new Joyous Home Community!

In the past we have used a private forum to communicate with our members.  We have decided we still need a private group and decided to invest in a community software.  This is a wonderful opportunity for non-members to still visit with us!  Our members will have their own private groups and forum. The link will be available on your download page and is also accessible from our site!

Beginners in quilting are welcome to join our group!  On the membership page you can meet members, ask questions and get some help putting together your block and fellowship with the other quilt block members.

If you know our magazine, I'm sure you know how visual Jessica and I are. Personally, I need more visual help with my projects than print help, so I try to make everything beginner proof!

Basic needs:

You should have a sewing machine, rotary cutter and mat, a ruler such as 'Quilter's rule' or Quilt Sense (24" x 6") and be ready to buy fabric, cotton and embroidery thread, embellishments and fusible interfacing for each block.

It helps when quilting time comes, to have a walking foot on your machine if available, but it can still be quilted without one or you can also hand quilt your piece, giving it a more traditional look.

What your membership includes: closeslip1web

  • Monthly PDF Instructions for blocks/embellishments, and the final month to include all finishing instructions, with color photography- A Season's must!

  • Templates to copy if needed

  • Access to our private quilt groups in our Joyous Home Community!  NEW!

*Extra Help when available:

  • Video Files, downloadable right from your block page

  • Talking pdfs when applicable

  • Conference room meetings (On new classes coming this summer 2010)

*A note on video files: Dial up may not work well with these video files. DSL is recommended. So far we have been able to put the video files in without a glitch! The files are meant as extra help if you are able to download them. They are not needed to complete the block and are not part of your purchase.

Each block will have embellishments of some sort, such as embroidery, bead work etc. The color choice is completely up to you, that is what makes your quilt unique.
