My daughter fried these up the other night as a side dish. The whole house smelled like fall. It brought people to the kitchen to see if apple pie was in the oven {blue}:lovekiss:
Super easy! If you want to give your family a quick special treat, this is it. Serve these as a simple side, or on ice cream for dessert.
Serves 5 people (or less hahaha)
4 large apples - we left the skins on
1 stick of butter
1/2 c. of brown or white sugar
1 TBSP cinnamon
Slice the apples 1/4" or cube them into 1" chunks. We used a cast iron skillet. Melt the butter, add the apples and sugar and bring to a boil. Then bring to a simmer until the apples are soft and add the cinnamon. Serve them up hot. Enjoy!
