This recipe turned out very tasty! The shortcake is sweeter and it can be used with any fruit. It serves about 12 people. Oven 350°, grease 9" x 13" pan.

Cobbler:
- 6 1/2-7 c. soft peaches, cubed
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 2 TBSP corn or potato starch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4-1/2 tsp. ginger
- 2 TBSP. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Shortcake:
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 16 oz. frozen butter
- 1 c. buttermilk
Extra sparkling sugar
