I don't normally buy separate cake flour for baking. This weekend I needed some for a recipe, and it's so simple to make, I thought I'd share.
For every cup of regular flour, remove 2 TBSP of the flour and ADD back 2 TBSP of cornstarch. Always whisk your dry ingredients in a bowl before adding them to a recipe.
How simple is that! The coffee cake recipe turned out pretty good.
