Check here 8/23 (tomorrow) for the surprise block template! This block is going to be mostly your creation after piecing!
(A note that I'm still a homeschool mama, so I try to get my to-dos done first in the morning, then I'm online, thanks for grace!!)

You have two choices for the surprise block. The templates are given, and the designing and embellishing are up to you.
1. The Joyous Home Paper Pieced Cottage
Download this Block:
Included are the paper piecing templates and the instructions for the ribbon vines we originally did for this cottage. Instructions for the embroidery are in the PDF but optional. I red-lined out half of the instructions so you know where the embroidery instructions start. Also, there are NO instructions for the paper piecing in the PDF, just the templates. You'll use the same technique for the house that you used for the pumpkins.
We do sell silk ribbon for embroidery! Orders placed will be packed and shipped the same business day.
Embellish how you would like! Think of felt pumpkins or leaves, a scarecrow?
We have also decided to extend the sew-along to the 8th of September. Finishing instructions will be posted at the end of next week - August 30th.

2. Joyous Home Sunflower Applique Block
The Sunflower templates are included with easy instructions. Embellishing and material choice is up to you.
